Now in it's 28th year, the "Classic" is hosted annually by the BSCCL on the first Saturday of June. Over the years the event has been consistently popular with local owners and fans of British cars. Depending on the year, and of course the weather, there is a turnout of 50 to 60 vehicles covering a wide variety of marques. Cars and spectators are drawn from Southwestern Ontario as well as from Michigan and Toronto areas.
Each year a specific model is designated to highlight the historical importance of the selected vehicle.
Crossings Pub Company, located in northwest London, provides the BSCCL with a spacious, grassy area for our show that is comfortable for both exhibitors and spectators. Parking is available for non-show vehicles in the Crossings parking lot. If you get hungry or thirsty while viewing the cars the restaurant and patio open at 11:00 for your enjoyment. Washrooms are available in the restaurant as well. Map
Nomination ballots are provided to each entrant and provide for the selection of the favorite car in several classes. The submission of ballots will close at 12:00 pm with the awards for winners presented as soon as the tally is complete, usually around 1:00 pm.
Plaques are awarded for each 'Best in Class' winner of each class. There is also a plaque awarded to the 'Best of Show' winner.
Have a question about your British car? Many BSCCL members will be on site and available to answer questions, both technical and non-technical.
Crossings will offer for sale BBQ Hamburgs/Hotdogs/Sausages/soft drinks on the Show field as well as food and drinks at the Pub.
